Posted by Vaughan on 09.30.09

Hello friends,

I hope everyone is counting their blessings today, and feeling God’s peace.

I just spoke with our friend Chynna who is in New York City today. She shared with me that her interview with Good Morning America went very well and she was able to share her faith story and promote our new record, One Reason! Chynna’s segment on Good Morning America will air tomorrow morning, Thursday, October 1, AND, she will be on Entertainment Tonight, tomorrow (Oct. 1).

On Good Morning America, Chynna told me she was able to speak about our song, “Eye for an Eye,” as being one of the messages and themes of our record. Here are the words to the chorus of “Eye for an Eye.”

I’m not gonna hate, even if I ache inside /
I'm not gonna hurt someone, even if I'm justified /
I'm not gonna lie, even if I've been deceived /
An eye for an eye is not the life I choose to lead

This is the way Jesus asks us to live our lives, and this is what we are trying to do. We extend this message to everyone out there: please forgive those who have hurt you and know that through Jesus and His love for us, His grace and His mercy, we are all forgiven, if we believe that He is our savior.

Just to let everyone know, our new album is available at Target (in the Contemporary Christian section), also at Best Buy, Walmart, Lifeway and Family Christian bookstores, iTunes, Amazon and all other retail locations.

Thank you for being such a big part of our music and our ministry. God Bless you all!

Vaughan,
Hey my sister in Christ. I pray this message finds you in wonderful spirits. I was just paruzing the Christian parts of the internet and found myself looking you and Chynna up. It was so much fun meeting you in Anderson,S.C. when we (3nailz) and you ladies met. Me and the other 3nailz brothers were just talking about how much fun it was opening up for you all w/ New Song and Blue Tree. Mojo(bass player) would love to get together and do a jam session with you. Please check out our site www.3nailz.net and lets all get together. Oh, by the way, I'm not one of the 3nailz musicians, I do the P.R. and we sat together at the back of the church in Anderson, listening to Russ's powerful testimony. I am so happy and blessed to get to meet a wonderful Christian soldier, may God continue to bless you in a mighty way.
In His Love,
Kenny

How do you know when you have forgiven? I have issues similiar to Chynna's family and I just want peace from it. Please help me. thank you : ) p.s. I don't hate anyone who hurt me or have any thoughts of revenge at all.

Hey there girls.....I just want to let you know that it is so awesome that you are in the public eye and can spread the word of Jesus. I just recommited my life to Christ at a Joyce Meyer conference here in Atlanta. Praise God that I am back. There is nothing else like the relationship we have, and the love that we share with him....all Praises to the King. Thank you again for sharing him with the public, which so many of us don't have the ability to do, let his name go to all the ends of the earth. Amen and God bless you and anyone you come in contact with!

Vaughn,

Jennifer Richwine invited me to your house back in 1997 or so. We sat around with your family and sang songs. I knew then that you would make it some day. I am especially glad that you are on Christian Radio. Try to get on 91.9 in the DC area. Do you still have the little tow behind camper? I also remember the song about the " hands on the town clock in Madison/Mayodan. God Bless all that you do to bring Christian music to everyone. It is refreshing and uplifting.

Vaughan....Wow! What a surprise it was to hear your name mentioned on GMA this morning. I thought I misunderstood until I saw your picture.

Wow! It has been more years than I would like to remember since our daysat ASU, 6th floor dormitory life and the BSU. I am so glad to hear you are still in music and utilizing that GOD given voice. I would like to think that with all the nights of listening to you teach yourself the 12 string guitar that you would still be utilizing those talents. Would love to hear from you some time. GOD BLESS!

Chy,
Raising children for the past few years? So "there's" where
you've been, hard at working at the most important job we
women do!
So nice to have you back along with Vaughan sharing the
other most important job, giving glory to God through
your music. Please come to Boston or Providence, or,
a venue in New Hampshire so we easterners have a chance
to see you. Thanks ladies!

In grace, Kimberley

I listen to Christian radio but had not made the connection between your awesome song and the lovely Chynna from Wilson Phillips. Imagine my surprise today when Chynna caught my attention on GMA and not only is she BACK recording but she's giving testimony of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on national TV!! I absolutely LOVED Wilson Phillips in their heyday...and I am so thrilled to hear Chynna's testimony just days after hearing her sister promoting her new book on Oprah. So wonderful to hear a message of peace and forgiveness and trust in the Lord today. I was so blessed by everything said (and sung!) on GMA. I went directly to my computer and posted a link to your new song and to your testimony posted on youtube. I hope others are as blessed by what you had to say. I am excited to watch your ministry explode! Thank you!
