- What is your faith all about?
We believe that the God of the Bible sent his son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross over 2000 years ago for all of humanity's sins. It is because of this act, and this act alone, that we will someday spend eternity in Heaven.
- Where did you find your faith?
Through both of our lives, we have lived and encountered multiple situations and results that left us looking for more, for something bigger. It came to a point for both of us, in different ways, where the pull we felt inside of our hearts was only being filled by the love of Jesus.
- How do you learn more about your faith?
There are so many ways to engage with amazing people that will stand with you and support you in your faith. Finding a solid, Bible-believing and teaching church, is foundational. Read the Bible. Find like-minded people that will go through life with you. We can’t stress how important it is to read spiritual readings everyday and take time to pray in the morning and in the evening. Spend quiet time with God everyday to be able to hear His Voice inside of you, guiding you.
- What about all of the judgmental Christians? How do you deal with them?
What Jesus asks us to do is sometimes challenging or difficult...he asks us to pray for our enemies and to love those who hate us. It is easy to love the people who love us but we are called to be instruments of peace and to sow love where there is hate...do not return evil for evil. Do not repay an eye for an eye...this is the way we want to live our lives. This is the way the world can change.
- Is it difficult to have your faith?
We have learned that life has challenges no matter what you believe, and they don’t go away no matter where you are. For us, knowing that Jesus is always with us, loving us, guiding us, and protecting us brings so much peace and contentment when the storms of life come. After experiencing the love of God, we can no longer imagine living life any other way.
